Heather Circle is a short dead-end street in North Billerica. It runs about 360 feet southeast from Hickory Lane and ends in a turnaround. It was laid out on the "Definitive Plan of 'Hickory Hill,' Billerica, Mass.," owned by Content Homes Inc. and drawn in June 1968 by Emmons, Fleming and Bienvenu, Inc., engineers and surveyors of Billerica. The Planning Board approved the plan on October 1, 1968, and it was recorded on October 17, 1968 (Plan Book 107, Plan 134). The plan divided land between Billerica Avenue and the Mt. Pleasant Nursing Home into eleven lots of about 30,000 square feet each. Hickory Lane runs east from Billerica Avenue, Heather Circle, 50 feet wide, branches from it, and lots 6 to 10 face the circle. The plan gives no reason for the name, and no record of its origin was found.

The assessors date the first houses on the circle to about 1970. Heather Circle was number 18 on the list of streets offered for acceptance under Article 40 at the annual town meeting that opened on March 11, 1972, beside Hickory Lane, number 17, and the record of the meeting lists it among the streets that "were accepted." The Highway Division did drainage work on Heather Circle in 1998, the street was repaved under the town's roadway management contracts in fiscal 2003, and it was crack sealed in fiscal 2017. Hickory Hill lot 6, at the entrance to the circle, stayed vacant until a house was built there in 2019 and numbered 2 Heather Circle.
